Rise Of The Occult Prologe

Russia...

The country of hardship and revolution. Day by day, the proud citizens go on to work, live and even love in the motherland. From the days of origin to the rise and fall of the Soviet union, Russia has continued to strive for a more unified nation. Even in it's days of capitalism, which continue today, the people live in a unified nation. Even in warfare, the proud Russian people fight together to preserve the good name of Russia...

Imagine it is January 2012. You are a russian solider at war. As a general rule of warfare, going for Russia means your defeat, because no one could enter the boarders without suffering heavy causalities along the way due to cold and frigid conditions, mud, and even disease. Hitler learned this the hard way. Napoleon learned this the hard way...

But what if your enemy was in Moscow's boarders all along and have been waiting, attacking innocent civilians, and recruiting to their army? What if your enemy is stronger than you? What if you enemy is faster than you? What if you enemy is not susceptible to a mere lead bullet? But worse of all, what if the enemy is your fellow comrade that you stand shoulder to shoulder with on a daily basis?

Now imagine you are the enemy. You travel by night. You stalk the weak for another meal. You blend in well with the people. Blood is you only desire. You are the master of deception, seduction, and intimidation. You can glamor people and they will do your bidding. You can even have them offer their blood to you if you wish. Your flesh is cold. People fear you are one of them. Some run from you. But some devote their lives to destroying you and ending your forces' existence. However, you are no human. You used to be one but because of one of them, you are no longer mortal. You feel sorry for your victims because you never wanted this. You are a vampire...

You may stop imagining because it once was a reality. My name you ask? My name is Mikael Chernov. I am 28 years old. I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. I knew about vampires ever since I was a small child. It is believed that they existed since the dawn of man. My father, Nikoli Chernov, was a professional slayer, one of the best in Russia, and one of the best in the world. Vampires, fellow slayers, even I call him the 'Slayer of a Thousand Suns', because he slayed with such efficiency and with such brutality, to vampires, meating him was like walking in the rays of a thousand suns. It always spelt a vampire's doom. He trained me physically to fight back against one. He educated me so I what to do in any sitiation. He strengthaned me emotional, so I can handle the strain of warfare. He even taught me a tequnique to break out of a vampire's hypnotic trance. The Occult has. He taught me everything I know about the undead. However, one night, nothing prepared me for what The Occult was planning...

It started as a riot in Eastern Romania on July 16, 2006. It was originally thought to be just that; a riot. But what we didn't know was that was merely phase one of an elaborate plan by The Occult for world domination. Once word spread of the riot, vampires all over the world started to spark chaos in the other countries of the world. Prisoners that the Occult managed to capture were ether excited, sent to a blood farming camp, or turned into vampires themselves. The Occult moved quickly and in no time at all, almost 95% of the world was vampire controlled. It seemed like they were going to succeed. But when the dust settled, Russian citizens, political figures, the Russian Army, and special forces took to arms stood tall and managed to keep the Occult out of Russia. But just barely. After we claimed victory, we had also found out that the United States also stood against The Occult. They, were thought to be the first superpower to fall. However, after the inital attack, the fifty state union stood strong. Dispite having fought forty-five years, each country knew that the only way to to have a chance of taking the Occult down, was through alliance. And so on June 2nd 2007, the Americo-Rusky alliance was born... 

The objective was simple...Start getting back ground from The Occult, put aside petty differences between the US and Russia, unite the oppressed people against them and bring hell to those that stand in our way...

...Ya easier said than done hehe...

The tale I am about to tell you comrades is that of war, tragedy, betrayal, conspiracy, fear, and most of all, bloodlust. But, it is also a tale of comradery, bravery, revelation, courage, revolution, and most of all, finding the will to fight even when the odds are against you...

So, now knowing what you know, who's side are you on?
